ABOUT RACHEL

Rachel Humphrey-D'aigle is a best-selling author of supernatural fiction set (mostly) in Maine. She is a proud independent author selling over half a million copies of her currently completed works. She currently writes under multiple pen names:

Humphrey Quinn / Ruby Raine / Bella Sandra / Jamie Ocean

Rachel was born in Malden, Massachusetts in July 1973, her parents and extended family lived in nearby Chelsea until the Great Conflagration burned through the city only three months later. They lost everything, and it took the family years to recover from the devastation of the fire.

From the age of three months old until she was seven, Rachel traveled around Maine and moved from town to town including as far north as Parkman, until her family finally settled in the town of Freedom, and in 1991 she graduated from Mt. View Highschool.

She continued her education at the University of Maine and after completing school moved to Utah, where she spent the next twenty years living, working, and writing as well playing mom to any number of furbabies needing homes or temporary care.

Rachel returned to Maine in 2015 to be closer to family, where she now writes full-time.
